Planning to exhibit your 4-H project at the Hartford Fair? This is the place to begin the process to check on requirements and any details that you need before you make the trip to Croton.
Parade Entry Form / Tug of War Entry Form - The parade will be held on Saturday, August 2 at 5:30 p.m. See form for details. The Tug of War will be held Monday through Thursday starting at 6:30 p.m. Entry deadline is July 26. See form for details.
Hartford Fair King/Queen - For those who submitted entries by June 28, interviews will be held on Monday, July 14 at the Extension office starting at 5 p.m. Call the Extension office by July 3 to schedule an interview time.
Dairy Feeder Steer Update - Don't miss the new rules concerning Dairy Feeder Steers at the 2008 Hartford Fair. Click on the link for all the new requirements, including pre-fair weigh-in, tagging and vaccinations.
Junior Fair Livestock Sales Brochure - This brochure is the perfect complement to the letter that Junior Fair exhibitors will send to potential buyers. It lists the livestock sales dates and explains the bidding process.
4-H & FFA Project Skillathon & Interview Judging Schedule - Events are dates & times listed. Award ceremonies will take place on Saturday, August 9 at the times and places listed.
Dog Certificate of Vaccination - This form must be completed by the Hartford Fair Junior Fair exhibitor and their veterinarian and presented at the Hartford Fair Junior Fair Dog Show on Saturday, August 2. All vaccinations must be administered by a licensed, accredited veterinarian and must be current through August 8, 2008.
Recipe Contests - Roll Call for Breads will be held on Wednesday, August 6 at 10:00 a.m. in the 4-H Center. Sweet Treats to Eat will be held on Thursday, August 7 at 10:00 a.m. in the 4-H Center. Click for the recipe form.
